Change in Legal Presence Reporting In August the Arizona Department of Real Estate distributed information advising that new legislation (A.R.S. § 41-1080) requires all agencies who issue professional licenses to obtain proof of legal presence in the US from their licensees before issuing or renewing a professional license. The Department has revised the method of providing documents and has discontinued the email address previously used for this purpose. Please refer to the Department's website for information on what documents are acceptable proof and how to provide them. Remember, this requirement must be satisfied before licensees can renew their licenses. |

Effective January 1, 2009 MLS Rules & Regulations: Section 4.5 BRANDING: Branding is prohibited in all public MLS fields including Directions, Marketing Remarks, Virtual Tours and Photos. Branding is defined as agent contact information, broker information, for sale signs and any other information that would allow a customer or client to identify a Listing Agent or Brokerage. (adopted 10/08). |
